2010 Affiliate Research Report – AffiliateBenchmarks

In September 2010, we finished collecting survey data from over 10,000 respondents for our third annual AffiliateBenchmarks report. The data collected has been analyzed by a team of industry experts from our parent company, NETexponent, and the resulting report provides deep insight into the affiliate industry. With the support of Commission Junction, Google Affiliate Network, Performance Marketing Alliance, MediaTrust, LinkShare, pepperjam, ShareASale, and more, we were able to successfully collect the largest number of survey responses in the affiliate industry ever. This 41 question survey collected a multitude of data points from the affiliates/publishers who completed the survey. The analysis provided clearly explains the significance of the data and compares it to trends from past research surveys. Anyone involved in affiliate marketing (affiliates, advertisers, networks, agencies) or anyone thinking about it should read this report to better understand the affiliates who fuel this industry.
