Jerry Karzen – Knees on the Floor – Torso on the Table
These ATM lessons were originally developed by Jerry Karzen to inspire the students in his Feldenkrais Professional Training Programs to design their own Functional Integration lessons, and they will surely deepen your understanding of working in this unique situation.
The position of kneeling over the table for Functional Integration is one of Moshe’s great insights. The position provides the context for powerful and effective lessons in a comfortable and non-habitual context.
Please Note:
All lessons in this series are done over a low table or bed, with knees on the floor and torso on the table. The table needs to be low enough that the natural arch in the lower back is maintained.
