DAR Wong has 25 years of trading experiences in global Derivatives and FOREX markets. Since 1989, he began his career employment with Bank of America Futures Inc, thereafter followed by Bankers Trust Futures Inc, Barclays ZW Futures Inc and Smith Barney Shearson Inc (Citigroup). Currently, he writes in financial columns for Borneo Post, 资汇报 and other financial magazine like 资本杂志, 东盟商界 etc DAR has been featured in Channel News Asia as a Commodity Expert and spoke on Singapore national radio Capital 95.8. He is panel speaker for the annual Global Rubber Conference and also an associate member of International Rubber Research and Development Board (IRRDB). Now, his advisory on portfolio hedging and Risk Management trainings have covered 13 countries with many Exchanges, Government agencies, Brokers and Financial Institutions. In 2011, he received a Spirit of Enterprise award in Singapore followed by an Outstanding Diamond Individual Award in 2012 from Royal Privy Council in Kingdom of Thailand. In 2013, DAR has been nominated as the Vice Chairman of ASEAN-China Commerce Association to establish bilateral ties with CA-Expo in China, Guangxi Province. In 2014, he joined Dektos Investement Corp – an Approved fund management by MAS, to be Investment Strategist cum Director.
